Financial managements, lecture 7. Last time I covered
financial market, I want to summarize it in a very short, speech. spot market.
The definition is it is the financial happen where all the spot transaction
happen, spot mean immediately. Futures market, is a financial market where a
contract is made today for a transaction in the future, may be one day, may be
one week. We make a deal for future. Money market, again a financial market
when money market instrument are traded, capital market, a financial market
where capital market instruments are traded.
Next one, primary market is a financial
market where securities are issued for the first time in order to raise funds.
Secondary market, a financial market where all the resistance securities are
traded among invertors. Private marker, is a financial market restricted only
to qualified participants. Public market is a financial market open to the
public, the meaning of public means anybody with cash anybody with money. And
it is a little this one, physical asset market. A market where the physical
assets as real assets are traded. Financial asset market, the market where
financial instruments are traded. Financial market is exactly the same as
financial instrument.
